Once the great gateway to the Penines, Once the great weaving town of the north, but after years and years of corruption and Cllr's who's only ambition was to line their pockets as soon as they were elected, the residents of Bolton have a failed town centre where even the £1 shops have shut up shop, Today we have a Bolton that was on the brink of becoming an urban district council under the city of Salford.
In the last Council elections Nick Peel was ousted from office and Reform candidates were quite successful, I feel that this is the only reason we have a glimmer of hope, BUT! I feel that Restore is the only party that WILL bring Bolton back from the brink and send a strong message to the other Cllr's of Bolton Council, the people of Bolton will no longer allow you to systematically dismantle and erase our proud heritage, the shouts and cries of Boltonians echoes through the halls and chambers of the town hall, so loud That even the Chief Executive Sue Johnson can't ignore them, but yet she still thinks corruption will still be tolerated and lying to the Council chamber is still acceptable, BUT she doesn't have Mr Peel to shield and cover for her, all her underhanded employment appointee's are there for all to see, I today call for the resignation of Sue Johnson with immediate effect.
Greater Manchester Police has recently been deemed as outstanding in ALL area's on it's last inspection, What an absolute laugh that is, everyone who lives in the Greater Manchester area and who are activly policed by GMP on a daily basis know that it is still a failing police force, It is failing the residents of Greater Manchester and is wholly inadequate and not fit for purpose.
Stephen Watson the chief Constable needs to act and act fast to ensure the people of Greater Manchester have a force they trust and have faith to act appropriately.

Sunrise Medical Company & Product Review
Having used sunrise for 15 years I can attest to the usability of the mid wheel variants, with the drive wheels being centrally located with 2 stabilising wheels both front and rear you get an optimal turning circle.
I have in the past used the Salsa M and M2 variants, and have never been left wanting on the independence side of things, Even being able to purchase new, used and reconditioned parts from various online companies and have been able to have a family member fit these parts where training is not required, having this facility alongside a service dealer saves wheelchair users the extra expense of doing minor repairs or upgrades at minimal cost.
I recently purchased a Q500 which is the newest model from the Salsa M2, I can't fault the usability of the chair, it is in fact fantastic, but after a recent trip on a ferry the chair got damaged, only minor and cosmetic damage, I have spent weeks trying to source the parts needed, I have even tried to order the parts from Sunrise Medical direct, But they will only sell parts to dealers! which means that the dealers will purchase the parts required, add on their % for admin and for the cost of fitting fitting the parts, as non of the 9 Sunrise Medical dealers would just sell me the parts, it was a supply and fit service at ALL companies I contacted, this is a great service for users who do not have anyone to assist with minor replacements, but for users who do have that option why should they be forced into that route! I feel this is unfair
Labour cuts to PIP
Not 1 Bolton MP has voted against this.
Currently there are 42 named Labour MP's who will not agree to these Disability cuts.
Out of the 42 there is not 1 Bolton MP who is against cutting disability Payments, the same MP's who voted to take away the Winter Fuel Allowance from millions of pensioners!
Did you vote for these people to go to the House of Commons and consistently demonise the elderly and sick and disabled in Bolton?
They sit back whilst the Labour council in Bolton decimate our town centre, pushing out businesses from our town to other towns in the area, Historically they ruined Bolton Market which was an attraction where people for far and wide came to do their shopping, these days they go to Bury.
They sat back and allowed Bolton University to be renamed as the University of Greater Manchester, they sit back and allow Bolton Council to approve more and more Mosques as part of the slow road to Islamifacation - What is next the old Magistrates court becoming the site of Bolton's 1st official Sharia Court?
Bolton historically a mill town welcomed diversity within our community, we welcomed the rich diverse culture where people assimilated to fit in with the Culture of the town, but these days it seems the town has to change for newcomers!
The people of Bolton deserve the right to PROPER representation, equal rights for ALL, 1 tier of law, 1 tier housing rights - where the people of Bolton have priority of ANY social housing.
WHY do Labour target the most poorly and ill in society, in a way that people start to look at other members of society with genuine disabilities as if they are benefit cheats? why do you not target those who are fit to work but just won't get off their arses and get a job? why do you make it so easy for the lazy to play to system but so hard for peoploe with genuine disabilities to be constantly refered to as scroungers by MP's?
The people deserve answers!
Why are Disabilitiy benefits constantly refered to as too high? the 2 highest sectors of the benefits paid are pensions and those to people who are in work! why not target the cheats who know how to play the system? working jobs in other peoples names whilst claiming to be unable to work? why target those with diagnosed illnesses rather than the "self" diagnosis? I wonder if I identified as a tree and "self dianosed" at having false wooden legs would it be challened and reviewd on a rolling 6 months basis?

The Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act
In 1930, the U.S. Congress passed the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act, officially known as the Tariff Act of 1930. Sponsored by Senator Reed Smoot and Representative Willis C. Hawley, the act aimed to protect American farmers and manufacturers from foreign competition by raising import duties on over 20,000 goods. The average tariff rate was increased to approximately 40%, one of the highest levels in U.S. history.
Decline in Exports and Imports
As tariffs were raised, both American exports and imports plummeted. U.S. exports fell by over 60% between 1929 and 1933, while imports declined by more than 66%. The sharp reduction in trade had a devastating impact on industries that relied on foreign markets, leading to widespread layoffs and plant closures. Increased Consumer Prices
