Donald Trump has announced new sweeping tariffs on everything.
Lets us start with importing cars? Why do Americans import so many European cars? could it be the build quality is better? could it be that they have better safety features? could it be that they are cheaper to run and more reliable? there are many reasons why the American public buy European cars, now add the fact they are going to have to pay an extra 25%-40% means only 1 thing, they won't buy one, they will probably then look at the second hand market and buy a nearly new one without having to fork out the hike in import duty, that in turn means that the US Government will lose out of import duty totally, The US car manufacturers source up to 60% of car parts from Mexico and Canada, this will mean that those car parts even though they are assembled in the US will still be 25% dearer under the new tariff's, meaning that American consumers will be paying upwards of 20% more for US manufactured cars, this includes Ford and GM. MANY economic experts from around the world have predicted the looming recession could become the Modern day Great Depression, and the similarities between what Trump is doing and the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act in 1929, only time will tell how bad it is going to be for the American public.

As a nation we have allowed the rights that our forefathers fought and died for to be diluted more and more, all in the guise of political correctness.
Where did we go wrong when we allow politicians to put women and children at risk of serious harm?
We need to go back, back to the time when there was just 1 system with no tiers, the same rights for every British person! Back to when our borders were secure where women and girls were free to walk around our towns and cities without fear of attack from illegal migrants who are being housed in hotels at the taxpayers expense.

A country to be proud of ? I don't think so.
During WW2 382,700 brave men and women lost their lives with a further 720K casualties, Between 1940-1944 we had the home guard, 1.5 million volunteers who were unable to sign up to the regular army for whatever reason, 1,206 of these died whilst on duty protecting our coastal areas, between them these hero's prevented Hitler from landing an invasion force on the British Mainland. Fast forward to 2025 and there are thousands of Illegals via small boats after crossing the English channel. Why is it that I feel the Political establishment of today have NO respect for the sacrifice made by these hero's who protected our country from invasion, as they now not only allow it but they dispatch the Border Force boats and the RNLI to bring the ILLEGAL migrants (some of which are not even in British waters) onto our shores, they then put them up in a nice3-5 star hotel with free food, drink, medical treatment, NHS dental treatment AND spending money, then forget about them for a few years then give them leave to stay, they are given full access to the NHS and benefits system, something people who came here the LEGAL route don't have for 10yrs, and in that 10yrs they have to work to pay for food, clothes and they HAVE to pay for access to the NHS.
The Government then starts shouting that there are too many people on benefits. so they bring in harsher more draconian rules that are mainly focused on the Disabled and Elderly, the same Elderly who have worked and paid into the system all their lives, and the Disabled people who mostly have worked but become to poorly to continue or was born with a disability in THIS country. these harsh and draconian rules DO NOT affect the illegal immigrants, they get a pass, and because they get a pass they will vote for the people who facilitated their great windfall.
I am all for immigration, as long as it is the LEGAL kind. I feel for the people who have paid thousands of £'s to the British Government in visa applications, then when they are granted a visa they then have to pay a lump sum each year to cover NHS usage, they have NO right to ANY benefits, then after being here working for 10 years they are forced to pay thousands £'s and have to jump through hoop after hoop before they get the right to stay permanently! all these additional fee's are on top of the PAYE and NI taken out of their wages each month! all this for being a law abiding potential citizen.
YET! Come into the country illegally on a small boat from France and you are given everything, free board and lodgings, spending money and free reign to break our laws. They are given more rights and preferential treatments than a British person, someone who was born in this country, how can this be allowed to go on unchallenged.

Each month thousands of illegal migrants leave a safe country (France) on a small boat that they WILLINGLY board to put their lives in danger to get to the UK shores.
They are claiming to be Asylum seekers which they are not, they claim to be in danger which again they are not! They are in France so why don't they go to the British Embassy and claim asylum there? that would be the correct and LEGAL way to go about things. But no, they willingly put their lives in danger going to sea, then the lives of the RNLI and the Border Force are put t risk going to collect them, It has been said on social media that many of these boats are intercepted in French waters and they still bring them into British waters and to our shores, all whilst the French navy escort the small boats, is this so they cannot return back to French shores? the British Government are paying Millions of pounds to the French to stop these boats, but what do the French do! they escort them to get rid of them.
After they are brought ashore into the UK these illegals have it made, and they know it, they get free accommodation in minimum 3 star hotels, free food, clothes, phones, medical treatments including dental AND spending money.
Lee Anderson reported that he received a complaint that in Essex there is a village with a recorded 200 population, Government agencies have placed nearly 800 illegal migrants in hotels in the immediate area, that is a 4-1 ratio! how is that in anyway shape or form integration? Women and young girls in the nearby towns and villages are scared to death, they are followed by these males, they have been witnessed to be trying to break in properties where woman and young girls live, they treat the area in a terrible and disgusting way, using the streets as toilets, urinating and defecating in the streets, and when the residents report this to the council and police, they are told that it doesn't happen or they are likely to be arrested for racial offences if they continue to make complaints!
THIS IS THE UK OF TODAY!
Did we vote for this? Did we vote to alow an all out invasion by illegal migrants? Did we vote to freeze our Elderly? Did we vote to demonise people with disabilities?
